Material provenance

Oil-wax cowhide in Caramel Brown. The oil-wax finish is applied by hand, creating a water-resistant surface that develops a unique patina over time. The leather is full-grain, retaining the natural character of the hide.

Technique

Craft process

The full-leather barrel bag is hand-cut and assembled from multiple pieces of oil-wax cowhide. The oil-wax finish is applied and buffed by hand to achieve the characteristic luster. Each bag takes 4-5 days to complete. The leather will develop a unique patina specific to each user.
