Thangka paintings are mounted using a centuries-old textile technique鈥攕ilk borders, wool backing, precise proportions. The Thangka Mount Textile applies this mounting craft to abstract woven panels, without religious imagery. Silk and wool composite layers in muted mineral tones. A meditation on the craft itself, not the iconography.
